Leonardo Da Vinci

This morning we went to the bristol museum and looked at Leonardo Da Vinci art work.

My first thought towards the art work is its incredible the thing I most liked about the art work is how much detail he shows in all of his work I also like the fact that he try's new things in his picture he is doing things that have never been done before. For example he draws the inside of someones arm which at his time was  a very different thing to do.

One thing I didn't like about the art work is the scale of his work it was all done on very small scales.

When I look at artwork I like it to be very big and very bold. Although there were some thing that worked well about it being very small and detailed it makes you really appreciate how much detail goes into such a small area.

Leonardo Da Vinci art work really varied in terms of what it is about he did artwork on war, human la-botany, Nature,costume design and a lot more. Leonardo Da Vinci lived between April 15, 1452 - 

May 2, 1519

He most famously used oil paints but he used many other techniques and materials too.

Dave White

Dave White was born in Liverpool on the 19th feb 1971.
He then went on to graduate at the Liverpool John Moores University in 1994.
He then started producing his own solo art expedition in 1995 and finally finished it
in 2011 with his finest work yet. Which is called the Americana gallery and what he 
is most famous for.
Here are some examples of his americana gallery.

Another thing Dave White is quite famous for is his sneaker series.
You can recognise Dave's work through is style of painting he use's various effects.
one of them being they way he flicks the paint across the canvas.


Here is a prime example showing how he flicks the paint which gives the painting a very urban/street feel.
